Have you verified that manual connections to the remote destination from your cPanel server are working normally, and that it's only the backup process that's failing to transfer the backups?

Even with the latest builds we are still seeing this and having to remove the directories manually.

Absolutely. Backups are uploaded fine. It is the removal where pruning errors are all over the place. Even the same backups it placed only days before are not removed. Permissiosn are 777.

We are backing up to s3 without any issues.
