It's tentatively scheduled for inclusion with cPanel version 11.38.3. You can monitor the change log for case number 75017:+1 for hoping that phpMyAdmin 4.0.5 is updated in WHM/cPanel ASAP. The previous version included some annoying issues and they seem to be corrected in 4.0.5.
cPanel & WHM 11.34 reaches "End Of Life" on October 15, 2013. There are no planned upgrades to phpMyAdmin on this version.what about 11.34?
4.0.5 has it's own issues, from what I'm seeing. I can't export a database, and never had an issue with doing so before. PMA does nothing but time out.+1 for hoping that phpMyAdmin 4.0.5 is updated in WHM/cPanel ASAP. The previous version included some annoying issues and they seem to be corrected in 4.0.5.
Hmm, a pain! :-( I've been using Sequel Pro on a Mac lately, so sounds like I'll be using this for a while.4.0.5 has it's own issues, from what I'm seeing. I can't export a database, and never had an issue with doing so before. PMA does nothing but time out.
Yep. Confirmed issue with 4.0.5 - http://forums.cpanel.net/f354/webpa...xport-db-case-75085-a-358542.html#post14545124.0.5 has it's own issues, from what I'm seeing. I can't export a database, and never had an issue with doing so before. PMA does nothing but time out.
That is not accurate. LTS releases are documented at:11.34 have EOL in Oct 2013, so next 5-6 weeks it should recive all updates, am I right? Or we are now in Dec 2013?
Note that cPanel version 11.34 utilizes phpMyAdmin version 3.x. While it's certainly possible that security patches for phpMyAdmin will be pushed to this version before it's EOL, it's important to keep in mind that all efforts should be focused on upgrading to a version of cPanel that is not nearing EOL. Out of curiosity, is anything in specific keeping you from upgrading cPanel version 11.34 to 11.36 or 11.38? We would be happy to assist you with the upgrade if you open a support ticket. So if you think that upgrade phpMyAdmin is not security, please read changelog of phpMyAdmin and get back. They are security fixes, some of them I might name as "critical". So please do not tell me that this is feature while this is simple security upgrade.
The simple answer is to upgrade your version of cPanel. You'll be doing your customers and yourself a huge favor. There are a few bumps along the way, but for the most part cP gets better with each major release. There's no reason NOT to upgrade.11.34 have EOL in Oct 2013, so next 5-6 weeks it should recive all updates, am I right? Or we are now in Dec 2013?

Version information: 4.0.5, latest stable version: 4.0.6
Internal case number 77173 is open for the inclusion of phpMyAdmin 4.0.6. Please keep in mind that we have to test new versions of phpMyAdmin before including them with cPanel. There will always be a delay between the time the software is released by the vendor compared to when it's included with cPanel. How about upgrading phpmyadmin to 4.0.6 ?
Is it advisable to do force update manually?s
