[Case 75385] CPBackup not restoring email accounts

Hi guys,

I tried restoring backups with restore backup / cpmove through WHM, and the accounts get restored, but not email accounts, I checked the backup files and verified there is a mail folder with emails, this is a huge problem for accounts with many emails.

I tried restoring multiple accounts and multiple backups, same issue. Also, I'm copying the files manually now to the mail folder (they were there already, so I don't think it will help).

I have clients freaking out about this, any help is appreciated.

Hello

There is an internal case open to address this issue. For reference, the case number is 75385. The resolution is included in cPanel version 11.38.2.2. Could you ensure you are on the "Release" or "Current" build tier and update cPanel if it's not already using version 11.38.2.2? Let us know if the issue persists for new transfers after the cPanel update.
