[Case 87581] issue with changing WHM root password

Dear cPanel Team

I am going to server http://mysitename.com/whm

then ask me change password so i was try to change password but again and again Old password incorrect error come.

then I have tried to change password from cpanel http://mysitename.com/cpanel link so what is the issue with WHM

Why its again and again Old password incorrect error coming ??

FYI:
I have enabled this option " Configure Security Policies " under WHM

Home »Security Center »Configure Security Policies

This interface provides the configuration settings of the Security Policy that apply to cPanel, cPanel webmail, and WHM on your server.
>> But This policity doesn't apply to "cPanel webmail" Why is so ?

Is it cPanel bug or What ?

Yes it is enabled

Internal case number 87581 is open to address the issue with changing expired passwords when "Hide login password from cgi scripts" is enabled. You can disable this option as a temporary workaround. The resolution is currently scheduled for cPanel version 11.42.1.
