[Cases 49227, 51040] Database backup skipped

    I've noticed in the nightly incremental backup logs that a database backup is being skipped.

    The line in the log says it's because the database hasn't changed.

    Aug 24 - user_dbname skipped (last change @ Mon Aug 22 10:51:10 2011, current backup @ Tue Aug 23 01:40:16 2011)

    The database however has changed since Mon Aug 22 10:51:10 2011 so it should have been backed up.

    Anyone know why the backup script isn't picking up the changed database?

    There are a couple of cases concerning incremental backups incorrectly skipping certain databases due to incorrect last_update_time stamps being read for tables.

    Those cases are 49227 (for 11.31/11.32) and 51040 (for 11.30). You can view the changelog at Change Logs to see when 51040 has been pushed into the existing 11.30 version being used.
