It is possible to use a subdomain in an email address, like so:
[email protected]

Let's say there are two emails sent to my server, to a domain with a wildcard domain name. The emails do not exist, so I want them to go to the catchall:
[email protected]
[email protected]

I'd like both those emails, which are not specifically created, to forward to a catchall, which would then pipe to a script. Is that possible?

Hello :),

Yes, you can use your [email protected] email account as cache all mail account. Please try to setup that and let us know if you are getting any issues with the.

Hello,

You can configure the behavior for messages sent to non-existent email accounts by using the "Default Address" option in cPanel. It's documented at:

Default Address - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

However, you can only configure this behavior for domain names and subdomains added to the account. If you wanted all unrouted email to that domain name forwarded elsewhere, you would add custom Exim configuration rules, like referenced on this third-party URL:

email to wildcard subdomains not working

Thank you.
