Please try yum clean all and yum update again, the problem was fixed, there must have been a faulty update.

After the first update last night, we run another update later today. The issue persists.

@dirklammert - someone will be replying very soon to that ticket as I've made sure to give that some priority on my end.
After our team reviewed the issue, we found very low configuration values for ServerLimit and MaxRequestWorkers that were keeping requests from being properly handled. Once those are adjusted I would expect things to work normally, but this isn't something that would have been related to the recent update issue.
