Is it possible to CC all mail being sent from all accounts set up on XXXXXX.com to the main account on XXXXXX.com automatically.

My client would like the option to be kept in the picture to all mail being sent from their companies website - i.e. all mail sent out from his employees to be CC to him... or better still BCC so the recipients don't know about it.

Is this request possible? Is there any resources out there that would show me how to set this up?

    Thank you for any reply.

You need something to integrate directly into exim, I've not come across anything that will do it with an exim tweak, but it may be possible.

It is definitely possible and easy to configure if you install MailScanner.

    :)

    Thanks Chirpy,

The "exim tweak" is what I feared.... that if I start messing in there without knowing what I was doing - I'd end up sending all mail from the server to that one account! or something equally rediculous!

I will check out mailscanner and see what I can see... I do have this installed - could you point me in the right direction...?

    Thanks again.

    the following worked for me:

place the followign code in /etc/antivirus.exim
    Code:
    if ${lookup{$sender_address}lsearch{/etc/email-backup}{$value}{}} is not ""
    then
        unseen deliver ${lookup{$sender_address}lsearch{/etc/email-backup}{$value}}
        errors_to admin@example.com
    endif

    then create a file /etc/email-backup
The format in that file is:
    Code:
    user@example.com:backup-malbox@example.com
where backup-mailbox@example.com is a valid email address.

*replace all instances of example.com with the desired domain
