Centos 4.1

    Anyone else have issues installing Cpanel on Centos 4.1?
    Apache does not install at all - I've imported the GPG and all that, but it still fails.

    What do you mean when you say that apache does not install? You're not trying to install it via yum are you? You should only be either using /scripts/easyapache or WHM > Update Apache to build httpd. If that's what you are doing, what errors are you seeing?

    The basic cpanel install on a clean os install - there's nothin in /usr/local/apache other than this:
    ./ ../ conf@ domlogs/ etc@ htdocs/


    I've tried using /scripts/easyapache and the .sea file as well and all fail with something about lex.

    You'll need to post the exact error message(s) that you are seeing in the context of the build.

    It seems that allot of the error messages are complaining about missing files in /usr/lib. I found the files in /usr/lib/64 and symlinked them to /usr/lib and made it to some new errors. This is what I'm getting now:

    same problem. anyone come up with a solution yet ?

    I gave up and just started from format again. It worked the second time.
