    Hello

my dc upgraded centos 3.4 to 4 . It works fine .

After the update check your /etc/yum.conf , it should point centos 4 !

then try to execute a yum update

If you receive some transaction error you should execute this

    rpm --import http://mirror.centos.org/centos/RPM-GPG-KEY-CentOS-4

In this way (using yum) you can install also the new kernel 2.6.9-5.0.5.EL

    Bye

    Go on, have a guess
Also be aware that upgrading from v3.4 to v4 can easily make your server unbootable. Be very careful and read the CentOS documentation if you consider doing this. The recommended path by RH and CentOS is to start with a clean OS install of v4.
