Hi, just a doubt. I have a server that is still running Cpanel 11.56 over centos 5.11. My question is about the Centos 5 EOL at October 31, 2017.
I know that no support or updates will be avaible after that date, but what will happen with the server itself?
Cpanel will stop working on this server or will continue functioning? I would like to know this if I had to schedule an update or if I can do it later.

    Thank you!

Hi Michael, one more question regarding this, what´s going to happen with the automatic email launched by cron everyday /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/upcp --cron (I have automatic updates disabled in whm) but this script /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/maintenance runs a check and fetch some files. I upload a log file so you can see. Is there a way to stop all this tools?

    Hi,

The cPanel update process itself will still run, but it will detect the use of the EOL operating system and prevent the update from proceeding. There's no need to delete the cron job itself, but if you prefer to do so, you can use the "crontab -e" command to modify your root cron jobs.

    Thank you.
