I have been experiencing high load on my server the past few days and have tracked this down to be various scripts in CGI Center on cPanel. The main being Entropy Search.

On just one account, the entropy search script consumed 24% Server CPU.

Is there anything that can be done to stop this, or lower the cpu usage required by these scripts?

    Thanks

Those WHM statistics (%age CPU) are utterly meaningless from a performance perspective. You need to either use trend analysis with something like MRTG or simply use TOP when the servers is slow to identify what might be causing load issues.
