Hi. I'm new. I've has a website for a year and can never get to use any of these cool scripts I see around.

I know my CPanel works because me guestbook works fine but I want to learn to use PHP (or something) to creat cool things.

Problem is I just don't know what to do! I have tried many times but always end in frustration.

Is there a place online where I can learn:
Where to put the files in my (home) webpages?
    How do I call them?
Does the page need to be setup as HTML first?
And a dozen other questions a novice might have...

    :)

To learn CGI, the best book there is for starters is CGI 101 which is the one that got me going. I bought 4 or 5 books before this one and couldn't get the hang of it, but once I got this one, I found it easy.

    Thanks Squirrel,
I'll see if I can find that book.

The CGI 101 in my reply is a link to the book at Amazon. That's where I buy many of my books.
