I noticed after the auto update tonight to WHM 8.5.1 cPanel 8.5.3-S3 that a CGI/Perl quit working on multiple servers.

I even tried re-booting the server but the only way I could get perl to work again was to change the update from stable to release then run /upcp (this did not fix the issue) then change the update preference back to stable then run /upcp again and perl started working.

Is anyone noticing this issue after tonights update?

    Hey guys, goto this thread:

    http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16894

I found 6 of my servers with the same problems. FTP stopped working as well.

I ran the steps found in this thread, and all is fine now.

    Good luck,
    Tim - Internethosting.cc

    This is an easy fix:
    Code:
    mv /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux.old
    ln -s /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i686-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/i386-linux
