    Hi there,

    I have a problem with my cgi centre.

    I am trying to use cgi email but when i click on it it produces a 404.

    Can someone help me as i would like to set up a form.

    This is not a cgi or perl troubleshooting forum.

    same problem here

    CGI Email is part of cpanel Mr Andy

    Any ideas what could cause this? Using STABLE release

    whats the apache error_log or the suexec_log have in it when the error occurs ?

    what if any errors do you get when you run this from command line

    /home/patri3/public_html/cgi-bin/cgiemail

    also check and make sure that file actually exists at that path and is chmod at least 0700 if using suexec and 0755 if no suexec and is owned by user:user

    doesn't appear to be alright

    cgiemail is showing 0 byte file size

    looks like you got a blank file there instead of the actual cgiemail file

    Just noticed yes. What can be done then?
    I mean I click the link for cgi email inside cpanel, it shows the 404 error

    check that it actually exists at this location

    /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/cgiemail

    if not I would suggest a /scripts/upcp --force and see if it replaces it

    beyond that I am not for sure what to do

    You should be able to use cgiemail from the cgi-sys directory in your forms. Just be sure that the template that you are referring to exists in your public_html folder.
