I recently had my host change the FTP password for our site. Immediately after doing this, the site went down, I get an error saying it can't connect to the database.

It seems to me that I just need to change the password of the database to this new one, but I don't see anywhere to do that in phpmyadmin. Can someone direct me to where to change a database password or a database user password?

In cPanel. Not PHPMyAdmin. Click MySQL databases link. There you add users and passwords. If you change this here, you'll also need to edit the config file for the site thats not working to use the new password.
