Just a tip for the unwary ...

I just transferred a few sites that are served by remote DNS servers and accidentally checked the "Change DNS on Source Server to Point to Local Server" checkbox.

Even after correcting the local zone file back to the local IP addresses the sites still showed the "This site has moved" page.

Bear in mind that these domains are served by remote DNS servers, so the DNS itself never actually changed, so something else must have changed to make the "this site has moved" page display.

Turns out that ticking this box also makes changes to the .htaccess file - once we removed these changes the sites displayed correctly.
