For several of my accounts, I have a directory structure like this:
/home/{acct}/domain.com/public_html

When I rebuild the httpd.conf file, these public_html directories often have the wrong permissions and the group is nobody. I think it's possible to change that using the postwwwacct script. Is that the correct place to look? If so, I could use a little direction to make this happen.

Hello :)

Is the "public_html" directory you referenced utilized as a document root for your domain name? What PHP handler are you using, and to confirm, do the updated permissions/ownership values result in an error message when accessing your website?

Thank you.

Yes - the public_html is the document root for the domain name. I'm using the DSO handler with PHP 5.4. The websites are still accessible, but my developers are unable to access the public_html directories (unless they use sudo or su).
