Hello, when I click in change hostname, it makes some changes in /etc/hosts files.

It don't take the IP setted up in "Basic cPanel & WHM Setup"

How this IP is obtained? Is stored in what file location?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Changing the server's hostname should not alter or modify any IP addresses in the /etc/hosts file. It only updates the existing hostname entry for the IP address already configured in that file.

    Thank you.
