Last night our httpd.conf file was changed at 2:20 AM. I'm assuming this was by some automatic cPanel process such as updating or the like. (We did not change the file manually at that hour)
As a result, symbolic links between subdomains and the primary domain no longer work.
Actual File Location:
http://mydomain/actual_path/file.txt
Symbolic Link in sub domain
http://sub.mydoman/symbolic_linked_path/file.txt
is giving 403 error when 'file.txt' is actual located at http://mydomain/actual_path/file.txt
???
What's going on?
How do I fix this?
Is this a fluke or was there some sort of change in cPanel that I was not aware of?
