    Hi all,

My data center provider wants control of 'root' and changes root password on us.
I want to use a different login for WHM, eg username: cpanel

How do I go about doing this? I've tried searching for an answer but no luck...

Is cpanel a username that is already used by WHM?

    Thanks, Jaze

cPanel doesn't have a "root" account...

The main account is created by you (the first account you setup).

If you can login to WHM as root, create yourself a secret account as a reseller, and allow all features in reseller features. Just a thought.
