Change Main IP Address Questions

If I change the main/shared IP will this also change the root IP?

Also will it break the cpanel license? Do I need to have my host do this?

If you server IP is the same IP that you have use for the shared IP, then yes this will change the root IP. I have a server IP then i have separate shared IP addresses.

It won't break the license, you just have to update your cpanel license to reflect the IP change. I think your host has to do this if you got the license through them.
