With my previous host (non reseller account), I was able to create subdomains and redirect them.
With my current host (reseller account) , I was able to bring over those accounts.
But if I try to create subdomains of my reseller account, I run into trouble.

Provider says all I need to do is
    (1) create a subdomain
    (2) Tell domain registrar to use new nameservers
    This does not work.

So I followed old provider's advice:
    (1) Create subdomain
    (2) Tell domain registrar to use new nameservers
    (3) Create add on domain
When I do this I get

Error from domain wrapper: is owned by another user.

So neither the old way I used with my previous host, nor my new host's way is working.

Can anyone see my problem or help me explain it to my host.

    Thank you!

    Hello :)

There is no need to further adjust the DNS at the registrar if the domain name is already assigned the name servers provided by your web hosting provider. You should be able to add a subdomain successfully. What error message do you receive when attempting to add the subdomain?

    Thank you.
