Can anyone tell me how to show the missing icon in new cPanel theme?

Hello :)

You may see unexpected behavior with third-party software. The Paper Lantern theme is still in it's early stages of development. The release notes are very informative and should provide you with a better understanding of where things stand at this time:

Paper Lantern 11.42 Release Notes

Thank you.

Paper Lantern theme is still in developing progress. I think it is not 100% ready for production use.

No worries. we realized people might get confused. Here's a cheat sheet with the old and new names on it:

http://documentation.cpanel.net/display/PLD/Paper+Lantern+Cheat+Sheet

In addition, performing a search for the old names for things should return the right things still. We'll keep that around for a good long time to help people learn the new names.

Seems like icons of 3rd party plugins are still not showing up on Paper Lantern. Does it mean the plugins should be updated to work fine in Paper Lantern?

Same here. CloudFlare simply doesn't appear. CloudLinux partially appears. The "CPU and Concurrent Connection Usage" icon appears properly. The PHP Selector icon doesn't appear (only the text appears). And then, at the bottom, there is a stray bar with "Resource Usage" below it. It looks very strange.

Also, is there a way to modify the Quick Links at the top? The defaults don't generally apply to our packages. So this area isn't really helpful unless we can modify what's shown.

Thanks!

Update: CloudLinux has released a new beta which should fix their Paper Lantern issues. (Haven't verified yet.)

Beta: CageFS, LVE Manager and LVE Stats updated

Can the Quick Links be modified so we can add items that are more relevant to our environment, or delete items that aren't applicable?

The problem with missing icons has been solved on our servers. It was due to a Softaculous file which needs to be removed. If you're using Softaculous, check if you have following file:

/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/paper_lantern/dynamicui/dynamicui_softicons.conf

This file is not needed and should be removed. It has been replaced by dynamicui_soft_div.conf and dynamicui_soft_div_icons.conf.

After deleting the file, run the sprite generator:

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/sprite_generator

at /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/514/lib64/perl5/cpanel_lib/CSS/SpriteMaker.pm line 796.

That's just a warning and shouldn't block the correct execution of the sprite generator. Softaculous is aware of this and will fix it in the next version.

We're still having issues with CloudFlare and CloudLinux. With the new CloudLinux update, the PHP Selector icon is still missing. With the CloudFlare update, CloudFlare now appears in Paper Lantern, but without the icon. And CloudFlare now appears twice in x3...once with icon and once without.

BTW, just noticed that Paper Lantern now has an updated File Manager style. Looks great!
