Hey there! There isn't a supported way to do this, as the file that controls this behavior isn't something we allow users to edit. There is a discussion with an alternative workaround here:

but you may want to submit a feature request using the link in my signature if you'd like to see the ability to change or hide this added in the future.

thanks for the reply, i've changed it and it works great, do you think i could set the
immovable attribute to the file without causing any trouble or is important to let the file being updated when upcp runs?

Good day, ludologo.

We highly recommend against setting files with the immutable attribute since it's known to cause issues. Instead, I recommend creating a post-upcp hook or a cron job that removes the OS information after every update.

We have an article on getting started with creating cPanel hooks that you can read here if you choose to use that method and an article on creating root user cron jobs here.

Hi , i have another question:
I see there is a variable called shorthostname = Whostmgr.shorthostname() in the file /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/templates/menu/topframe.tmpl , is there a variable for large hostname? because it only shows the subdomain prefix in server hostname and i would like to show the whole hostname,

Hello! Upon investigation, it doesn't seem like this would be possible; there wouldn't be a way to get the full hostname to show. Is there a reason you need it set this way?
the reason is the hosname of all my servers, all the hostnames are host.domain1.xxx host.domain2.xxx .... host.domainx.xxxx so in the information it only shows [host].
