    Hello everyone,
I have a new VPS server that works with cpanel and I wanted to know if possible to change the date of the monthly cron job through WHM?

This is because the monthly backup is done on the 7th of every month.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello :)

The backup system is designed to generate new monthly backups once the existing monthly backups are one month old. Thus, the cron job for "cpbackup" runs daily by default, but new backups are only generated when the existing backups are one month old. If you only have the "cpbackup" cron job running one time per month, you risk the backup files being newer than one month old and thereby skipping a month.

    Thank you.

    Thanks,
So that means that if I delete the existing backup and I create it again in 1th of the month it will change the date of the monthly backup to 1th of every month?

Essentially, yes. If no backups exist on that date, then new backups will be generated. Then, one month later, backups will be generated again. You could also manually change the date of the monthly backup directory to achieve the same result.

    Thank you.
