Good Morning,

How can I change the path from the subdomains? These are stored in "public_html" by default. But I want them to be in "/subdomains/*" outside of "public_html".

If I enter the path manually, it saves it in "public_html".

Thanks for your help.

Best regards

Hello,

Hello,

As mentioned in the previous post, the following option is available under the Domains tab in WHM >> Tweak Settings:

Restrict document roots to public_html

Per the description:

Enabling this setting restricts Addon and Sub Domain document root directories to the same document root as an account’s primary domain (~/public_html)
You'd need to ensure this option is off, and then browse to the "Subdomains" option within cPanel and click the path under the "Document Root" column to make the change.

Thank you.
