Changed Email System and now emails wont logon

Hello , We changed from courier to dovecot and now 3 email addresses out of like 50 will not logon, we go to xxxxx:2095 and logon > that works fine but as soon as we click horde or roundcube etc then it says Username and password entereed incoreectly or just goes to the squirrelmail logon page - all the other emails work fine though , we have tried changing the password to no avail , we cannot delete these emails as they are really nedded and what is inside them

please help if you can

What is recorded in /var/log/maillog for these accounts when they attempt to login to roundcube/horde/squirrelmail ?
