Hi,
Today I changed the owner for /var folder recursively to root:root in error.
I realized there are several symbolic links pointing to others folders that could take to user and group root.
I tried to chown folders "Recursively" to their previous owners as far I could remember them.
i.e:
mysql:mysql to /var/lib/mysql
named:named to /var/named
mailnull:mailnull to /var/spool/exim
I am not sure if I have chowned them righly because I haven't any reference to do it.
How can I fix it rightly or view a list as example to chown them correctly.
I am worry about that if some service needs to restart, it is going to start to fail.
Thank you very much in advance for your help
