Changing Account Ownership

We started adding accounts as the root user. After many accounts we now want to use a specific reseller username to put those accounts under. The reason is that this way we see exactly how many accounts are sold by each user and the package type. We use this to keep track of paid accounts vs. internal accounts.

Anyhow, I started moving users by hand using the WHM form. But it takes a forever. Is there a quick way to change account ownership? Maybe in the file system or something? Any help would be appreciated.
