    cPanel wizards,

How do I turn Database Prefixing back ON after having turned it OFF?

The cPanel control indicated that it was not possible.

I turned Database Prefixing OFF because the cPanel Migration Team recommended it when I migrated from another webhosting software to cPanel.

However, Fantastico does not appear to be able to work properly ith Database Prefixing turned OFF.

Most of my existing databases are prefixed with the username already.

Will I need to create a new prefixed database for all existing databases that do not start with the username?

    Thanks.

    Jim

Have you contacted netenberg via their forum to ask about this issue? Database prefixing being able to be set off has been part of cPanel for quite awhile now. They should be able to support it, and it is quite possibly a bug in their product if they are not able to support it. Their forum is at this location:

    Tristan,

Yes. I have a netenberg support ticket that has been open for two weeks.

BTW, their forum has been disabled.
