Ok, I know there is a way to do this, but am not sure how:

I am trying to change the default page that my sub domain is pointed to. It is currently default.htm. I want it to be default.asp. Is that possible? Thanks!

    Also another question:
Is it possible to run asp scripts on a Linux server that has apache on it?

You can change the default page loaders in your httpd.conf file.

You can run asp pages if you purchase and install chilisoft asp.
