    Hi,

I currently have a server with just over 100 active sites on, and would like to change the server's hostname.

Can this be easily done without any major issues?

    Thanks

    Go on, have a guess
Most of that is not necessary, though as WHM does it for you. All you need to do is:

    1. WHM > Hostname

    2. Setup the A record for the new name in the authoritative zone for the relevant domain.

    3. Restart some services that use the hostname:

    service exim restart
    service crond restart
    /scripts/restartsrv_mysql
    service syslog restart
