Hello All,

I have 3 of 4 of my DNSOnly servers running on EC2 (the fourth is on one of my servers in colo). If I change the EIPs on the DNS servers, will that cause the DNS to break? I was thinking they wouldn't, as they are using hostnames and not IP addresses.

Thanks :)

Hello,

The IP address that's detected when initially adding the server to the cluster is utilized as the name of the configuration file in the following directory:

/var/cpanel/cluster/root/config/

I recommend re-adding the DNS-Only server via "WHM Home » Clusters » DNS Cluster" on any hosting servers that use it for clustering after the IP change.

Thank you.
