I cant change the language for PORTUGUESE, for example..

i change via ssh, via WHM, via CPANEL in Browser... when i back to home of cpanel, the lang is ENGLISH.

HOW I CAN CHANGE MY LANGUAGE? and HOW I CAN SET OTHER LANGUAGE WITH DEFAULT IN CPANEL?

    Thanks....

By "via WHM" do you mean setting the Default Language to something other than English, clicking Save and when you login to cPanel again, it displays the interface in English?

If you imported language files via SSH, are you sure you placed them in /usr/local/cpanel/lang and not /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/?

I am having this very problem myself. I translated the language file and uploaded it via whm. However that doesnt seem to be significant because even if I change it in cpanel or whm to for example the spanish language that is provided by cpanel it still shows as english

EDIT: seems I translated the wrong file. I translated the root language file not the x3 theme file. Is there a reason for the root language file or is it more or less deprecated?
