Changing main server IP (bound to cPanel licence)

Hello.

Long story short:

I have a cPanel server with 3 IP:
111.111.111.111 (bound to cPanel license)
111.111.111.112
111.111.111.113

Murphy decided that in a dozen of days or so I'll need to move the main IP (111.111.111.111) to another server, so before to do it I need to "move" current cPanel license from 111.111.111.111 to 111.111.111.112

The question is: is it sufficient to go on store.cpanel.net and edit the IP referred to the cPanel license, or will I need to do anything also on the server?!?!

After updating the IP address at the cpanel store, run the following command:
/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
on the server to update WHM. I don't know how long the cPanel store takes to update its database so you might have to wait a bit before running that command.

After changing the ipcfg-ethxxx file in network-scripts, simply run the cpkeyclt command.

But if you change license the ip frequently, your license and ip address will be locked.

You MUST change the IP in the store or you will end up with a temporary license:

Step 7c: Change your licensed IP address
You must perform this step immediately after you complete the previous step. Until you complete this step, the cPanel, WHM, WebDAV, and webmail interfaces will not be available. Websites, FTP, and email services through desktop email clients will not be affected.

Note:

1. Log in to your cPanel Store account.
2. Under Orders, click View My Licenses. The Manage Licenses interface will appear.
3. Under Actions, click the pencil icon. A new interface will appear.
4. Click Edit IP.
5. Enter the new IP address.
6. Click Save Changes.

If you don't have access to the store (i.e., you purchased your license from a reseller) You'll need to work with them to get it changed.
