    Hi,

Currently, all new accounts created in WHM have "Index Manager" default set at "Default System Setting" which is apparently standard indexing. How do I change the Default System Setting for accounts index manager?

My hosting provider says it's not possible to change my account-wide default setting for sites' Index Manager.

    Are they right?

    Thanks,
    -traynor

They or you can easily set this by adding the appropriate entries in the .htaccess file that you want as default and then place the .htaccess in your cpanel3-skel directory of your reseller account. Any account created under you will have that set as default. Or you can ftp in and do this yourself.

    cheers
