    Just a "watch out" tip...

A user had about 25 email accounts set up.

His email account limit per cpanel's settings was below 25 accounts, but was formerly a higher number when he set up his accounts (but I suspect it was changed without me realizing it when I changed my overall package definitions later).

He went into cpanel to change a user's password, and got a message saying the password was changed, then immediately an error message saying he could not create a new email account as he had exceeded the maximum number of email accounts (but he wasn't trying to create any accounts.)

    The bad news:
He called me, and when I went in, the account he was trying to change was no longer there.

    The good news:
When I recreated the account, all the old mail was still there.

FWIW, this is in WHM 10.8.0/cPanel 10.8.1 R113.

    Bill

You should probably submit this to http://bugzilla.cpanel.net so that it can be (potentially) fixed.

Submitting a support ticket to cpanel would also get you specific attention.
