Changing path in cpanel new account

I created an account in WHM and i have this path:
/home/newaccou/public_html

Later, I changed the domain and all was working fine but I couldn’t change the path to:
/home/newdomai/public_html

How can I change this as I have all my files there and I don't want to lose them?

The path is based off the username, not the domain. To change the path, you need to change that user's username by going to the Modify an Account screen in WHM.

You cannot use the new path unless you have created the new user in the cpanel. If you have created the new username under a different domain, change that username first.
