This issue is driving me crazy and I want to understand how cPanel architecture works.

I have server ip is something like : 43.21.2.23

Now i had account system was running in

home/alpha/public_html here fine with subdomain as
    ac.mydomain.com

now i have installed new account system in
    home/beta/public_html

which I have pointed to ac.mydomain.com and I want to run old account system as legacy.domain.com which should point to home/alpha/public_html

but legacy.domain.com i am not able to map to home/alpha/public_html - where should I enter these entries, everytime I try it shows me 404 error.

Also I want to uninstall SSL which was setup for home/alpha/public_html for ac.mydomain.com.

Are the aforementioned sub-domains the primary domains of the respective "alpha" and "beta" user accounts?

It is possible to modify an account's primary domain via the following menu path in WHM:
WHM: Main >> Account Functions >> Modify an Account
    Documentation: Modify an Account

Uninstalling or removing an SSL virtual host may be performed using the following menu path in WHM:
WHM: Main >> SSL/TLS >> Manage SSL Hosts
    Documentation: Manage SSL Hosts
