i did follow the instructions to change it but what happens is www.domain.com changes properly but domain.com doesnt change. what would i need to do to make domain.com change also?
I think you need to provide a little more info as to what you changed and why

You need to change the A record in the dns for the domain.com to point to the IP of partner.sponsordomain.com
and that would work
