    Hi,

I have a website hosted on cpanel 11.32.5 (build 12) on a shared IP address. To login to my cpanel I type mysite.com/cpanel and the cpanel login page shows up. I would not want anyone to see the login page of the cpanel. I googled for the same problem that i face and read "You can change the cPanel port in /var/cpanel/cpanel.config file".

First, I could not find any such directory named var on cpanel. Where is it located?
Second, is it possible at all to change the default mysite.com/cpanel to something else?

Please do not ask me why would I want to change or hide the cpanel login address.

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards,
    Manish Bathla.

You can access that file only if you have root access to the server.
