The server is currently running Exim and I would like to know if it's possible to change the SMTP settings server wide. Meaning let's say you create an email. Account, [email protected] Com.. When you access WebMail and send an email it would send it via the new SMTP settings you've changed the server to.

I know this request is unusual but I was wondering if it's possible and how do I go about doing it?

Hello :)

Which SMTP settings are you attempting to modify?

Thank you.

I am trying to change the entire server SMTP settings to go to an external source. I would like mandrillapp.com to handle all outgoing emails and not just on email clients but on the server itself.

Is this possible?

The example i used was let's say I go into Webmail, I even want all webmail accounts to use the SMTP server of my choosing.

You can use the smart host feature:

Exim - Basic Configuration Editor

The "Smarthost Support" option under the "Mail" tab allows you to use a smart host for outgoing messages.

Thank you.
