How to change <title>my site</title> and change the keywords by accessing Cpanel? First, I login and do I navigate to FILE MGR.>public_html ? Or? Please specify the steps needed to get to this HTML. I bought this site already set up but cannot figure out how to do this part. I already have added links to pages this way, no prob. But for whatever reason, cannot locate the right page to get into the HTML for these two.

Is your site based on any particular platform (CMS,Wordpress etc) ?

If not, then most likely, you should be able to manage these things via public_html>index.html

    see attached screenshot

After logging into Cpanel, the page of icons opensm I click FILE MANAGER and then the next page opens and I click on upper left PUBLIC_HTML and this page (attached) opens, but I see on left side (highlighted in red) no INDEX.HTML (what to do next?)

    and it is not wordpress

I don't know...these forums don't allow the easiest way of uploading attachments. Mine is a very basic JPEG. I go to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS>BROWSE my chosen image and all I can see is "close window"....so after I click BROWSE and choose the image, is it not supposed to attach to the message....like I say, all I see is "close window".....these forums leave much to the imagination....if you have a chance, PM your email address so I can email the attachment directly to you. Thank you.

Don't forget to click the "Upload" button (to the right of the "browse" button). You may need to make the window bigger to see this button.

OK-thanks for setting me straight. See attached screenshot which I hope will help. To get here, I go into CPANEL>FILE MANAGER>PUBLIC_HTML and? I don't see the index.html

    thanks!

It looks like you have an index.php rather than an index.html. You could try clicking on the index.php then click the link on the right side to edit the file and see if the <title> tag is in there for you to edit. If not, you'll have to contact whomever built the site for you for how to edit it.

You may also want to ask your hosting provider to update you to the x3 theme. We no longer maintain that old x theme.
