Didn't care for the Cpanel ad when folks get the default page on our server, so I rewrote the default index page within '/usr/local/apache/htdocs' (works fine).
Tried to 'chattr +i' the index.html file to prevent overwriting during Cpanel updates on a VPS server, but I get an error.
"Inappropriate ioctl for device while reading flags"
Does this mean anything to anyone here?
There are several variations on this, depending on how it's invoked. Is this something related to Apache, RedHat, WHM, or pUTTY (teminal emulation incorrect?)?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
