    Hi Guys,

I bought a cPanel license today and setup a VPS server on the cloud. I have used the Security Advisor tool to patch all its findings and there are no more to look into.

Is there anything else I should think about or checklist to make sure everything is tight and secure?

    I appreciate PHP needs tweaks.

    Al.

Without doubt install CSF, it's a free firewall app.
    ConfigServer Security & Firewall

WHM also has a cracking feature "Host Access Control"
This will allow you to restrict access to certain services ie SSH, FTP etc to just one or a handful of IP's.

Also consider moving your SSH port from 22.

Install CSF as suggested above. You will get more check list to harden your server in CSF (similar to Security Advisor).
