Hi,

same problem here! The SSL for the services expired 11/27/2021 and since then no new certificate installed.
I get the following error:

The system failed to acquire a signed certificate from the cPanel Store because of the following error: (XID b9xuxw) The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.
I deleted from the SSL Storage Manager the expired cert, reset the certificates and run /usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkallsslcerts but still not working.

Is there a proper fix?

Could you open a ticket using the link in my signature so we can investigate? If you are unable to, your web hosting provider likely can on your behalf. Provide me the ID once done.

2:29:51 AM The “cPanel (powered by Sectigo)” provider cannot currently accept incoming requests. The system will try again later.

What a piece of !"#¤!"#¤

Fix this already! My domains are expiring.

Endless loop now?

2:58:01 AM The queue contains a request for a certificate for “ xxxxxxxx”’s website “ xxxxxxxx.xx” (order item ID “ xxxxxxxx”). The system last polled for this certificate at Dec 20, 2021, 12:56:02 AM UTC. The next poll will happen no earlier than Dec 20, 2021, 12:58:02 AM UTC.
3:00:02 AM Polling for “ xxxxxxxx”’s new certificate for “ xxxxxxxx.xx” (order item ID “ xxxxxxxx”) …
3:00:03 AM The certificate is not available. (processing)

For future reference anyone reading this, and having cert renewal problems, make sure you don't have any sub/addon domains etc. on the auto SSL which do not resolve!

This is quote from Justin: " As of November 22, 2021, however, our certificate provider has revised their domain validation requirements. As a part of these changes, each subdomain requesting coverage requires their own unique validation record."

I had two system added non-resolving addon/sub addresses, and that broke the whole chain / renewing process.

So get rid of all "old addresses" you may have. I also had one old staging address (which was already removed from external nameservers), which would've blocked main domain cert renewal process in few days.

EDIT: and by remove / get rid of, I mean Exclude from AutoSSL

lol, we are now having this problem with the hostname ssl expired, and the same error

The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.

Have the latest whm version? And by hostname I assume you mean the whm hostname. I think latest version should fix that already, but if not, I recommend trying this workaround.

It looks like this is an issue we are actively working on and is known. Please see the following article; does this sound like what you are both experiencing? If not, you may want to open a ticket with cPanel using the link in my signature.
This workaround didn't work for me this morning, at first I kept getting

Requesting certificate from cPStore …
The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.

However once I performed this workaround and tried again

Requesting certificate from cPStore …
The response to the HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) “POST” request from “https://store.cpanel.net/json-api/ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day” indicated an error (504, Gateway Time-out): <html><body><h1>504 Gateway Tim…

I tried it once more

Requesting certificate from cPStore …
The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to the request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process your request. Please try again later.
Undoing HTTP DCV setup (/var/www/html/.well-known/pki-validation/84A43B88B43F20D3BE7D32AFB0029702.txt) …

For some strange reason it never updated, it expires midnight today 31/01/2022 exactly, then I did this like 2-3-4 times again and all of a sudden

Requesting certificate from cPStore …
Order submitted. (Order item ID: 1464513205)
Installing “cpanel”’s new certificate …
Attempting to verify your certificate.....
Querying Apache TLS for installations of the previous certificate …

......

Requesting certificate from cPStore …
The cPanel Store returned an error (X::TemporarilyUnavailable) in response to th e request “POST ssl/certificate/whm-license/90-day”: We were unable to process y our request. Please try again later.

Then the second time

Requesting certificate from cPStore …
Order submitted. (Order item ID: 1464596843)
Installing “cpanel”’s new certificate …
Attempting to verify your certificate.....
Querying Apache TLS for installations of the previous certificate …

We had two shared servers failing until we did this few times until it got through.. it's just some temporary connectivity issues to the cpStore

@Steini Petur - Sectigo is still experiencing issues, which is where the hostname certificates originate from. We're still hoping they are able to fix their network problems.
My apologies, I just see the "cpStore" in the output nothing about Sectigo, anyway hopefully it gets fixed before next 3months areup (since all our servers are now valid)..but for the sake of others maybe a message on the board from you guys goes a long way that is "today" not thread from last year.

I bet you all have these: cpcalendars, cpcontacts etc. included in your cert, and they don't resolve?

For example, I have these: cpcalendars.whm06.mydomain.com, cpcontacts.whm06.mydomain.com and they don't, why would they even...
