    Today I received the following email. We never received this email before so not sure what the deal is. Help would be appreciated.

    This module is required by cPanel, and the system may not function correctly until it is installed, and functional. Below is the results of the auto-install attempt:

    Test Run

    From what I found NetAddr::IP's new release is wonko - roll back to .48:

    NetAddr::IP - search.cpan.org

    I then ran:

    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/fixspamassassinfailedupdate

    SPAMD is running again for me, been deploying it across other servers with things coming back online.

    Thanks CB. I don't use SpamAssassin so I guess it's safe to ignore.

    Hi,

    This problem is showing up in more and more servers. Hope cpanel provide an autofix in the next update.

    This has been corrected by recompiling the Socket6 perl module.

    root@server [~]# /scripts/checkperlmodules
    (snip)
    Tested 135, 135 ok, 0 failed.
    (snip)
    root@server [~]# perl -e 'use NetAddr::IP;print (NetAddr::IP::Lite->new("127.0.0.1/8")+5);print "\n";'
    127.0.0.6/8
    root@swift [~]#
