[checkperlmodules] The perl module Spreadsheet::ParseExcel could not be installed.

    I get errors for:
    Spreadsheet::ParseExcel
    Net::Daemon::SSL
    Net::OSCAR
    IO::Socket::SSL

    erm, Help?

    Have you tried installing any of them manually? ie /scripts/perlinstaller IO::Socket::SSL

    cpan -f IO::Socket::SSL
    I had tried the forceful install both ways without success before this post lol.

    Definitely has something to do with the whole XS thing, as I'm seeing other threads where similar build issues with other modules are being encountered. I would recommend opening a ticket with cPanel support.

    its okay, running this old chestnut fixed the problem:
    /scripts/perlinstaller --force Scalar::Util
    or
    cpan -f Scalar::Util

    Awesome! Now if I could just get Image::Magick to compile!
