    Hello All,

    I have two questions :

    WHM 6.4.2
    Cpanel 6.4.2-S51
    RedHat 7.3

    I want to create FTP accounts like
    user1@subdomain.maindomain.com

    Second Question :
    WHM 7.2.0 cPanel 7.2.1-R45
    RedHat 8.0 - WHM X v2.1

    Imap and Intechange shows failed on the Service Status Page.
    I don;t want imap to be displayed on the Service status page
    i removed the file /var/run/chkservd/imap but no use it still shows imap failed.

    I restarted chkservd many times.I also tried disabling imap through
    pico /etc/xinetd.d/imap
    disable = yes
    restart xinetd
    but nothing works!

    Any Help for both.

    Regards,
    :confused:

    In cpanel > FTP Account > create the ftp account.

    Why do you want to disable Imap?
    I do not think it is possible to remove Imap from status page. This has nothing to do with the files you delete.

    You should contact the support.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Using the abobe steps for the FTP see what happens:

    Add FTP Account : admin@sub1.domain.com
    Pass : admin

    The user and home directory it creates as
    admin@domain.com
    /admin@sub1.domain.com ==> ?

    i want something like admin@sub1.domain.com as the user and then the pass as admin but cPanel creates it on the main domain which is not needed.

    Second thing is Imap is not started on my cpnel , I upgraded to the latest release and still it says Imap Failed,Intechanged Failed WHY? I restart the service everything i did still it says failed and cpanel mails be abt it .

    How do i do this then?
